Interview and Review for One Last Breath of a Loved Vampire by Kadeelia Mitchell

Another interview and review for another amazing find on Wattpad. Before I can tell you about this amazing book, lets find out a little bit about the author. I asked her some questions and she was super nice to answer them for me. I hope you guys enjoy knowing a little bit about her.

When did you finally realized you wanted to be a writer?

I realized I wanted to be a writer when my library skill teacher gave me an assignment to write our own story and make a book cover as well in grade 7.

How long does it take you to write a book?

It takes me 4-5 months to write a book.

What is your work schedule like when you write?

I write during my free time. Most times I spend 3-4 hours writing?

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

I feed on snacks while I write.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

For my ideas, I have dreams. I also read students and watch movies to get more ideas.

When did you write your first book and how old were you?

I first wrote my book in grade 7 at the age of 11.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?

I watch Asian dramas and anime, sometimes I read and listen to music.

What does your family think of your writing?

They think is good and they hope for me to try publishing when my exams are over.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

I realized that as I write more, ideas keep coming and coming. My comprehension skills have also improved.

How many book have you written? Which is your favorite?

15 books I have written. My favorite book was Fearless Depression.

Do you have any suggestions to help me become a better writer? If so, what are they?

I think you're a fair writer. Maybe if I read more of your books I can express my opinion more.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kind of things do they say?

I don't hear much from readers online. Only once in a while, but my friends are always down on me to keep on writing because they think my writing are good.

What do you think makes a good story?

I think keeping the reader on the edge of their seat with good flow of writing makes a good author. But it all depends on the type of story.

As a child, what do you wanted to do when you grew up?

When I was younger I wanted to become a nurse, but between grade five and six I noticed how talented I was in craft and drawing so I decide I wanted to be an artist, then I went to high school I added writing to it.

A few days later Karin arrived at her new school, only to meet the paled-skin bloodsucker again. Troubled awaits her as she is target by mystical creatures in the school.

What I think:

One Last Breath of A Loved Vampire is a must read book. Is full of mystery, magic, action, love and so much more. Not even a chapter in and I was already mesmerized by the story. Kadeelia Mitchell not only takes you on this amazing journey, she also makes you want to stay they there; a world full surprises.

Karin Meadows is a girl we can relate to as she moves to a new place, new friends, new struggles.
As you get to know her you will find that all she want is to live a happy life, but she struggles a lot as she finds out who she really is. Friends would become enemies and enemies would become friends.

I honestly enjoy every part of the story and even though is not finished yet I could tell you the rest of the story would keep you wanting more. The way she describes everything so vivid you can see in your mind like a movie. The vocabulary that she use seems so unique and perfect. The pace of the story is neither too fast or too slow.

I had a lot of fun reading this and I hope you do too. Just give it a chance and you'll fall in love not only with the characters, but also with the world the live in.
